Jerry L. Lacey, Sr., 74, of Fayetteville, passed away on May 27, 2010.

Mr. Lacey graduated from Forest Park High School in 1955 and was a dedicated member of the Forest Park Fire Department. He was the owner and operator of Fayette Electrical Co. and retired from the U.S. Department of Labor. Mr. Lacey proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church, Fayetteville .

Senoia Optimists raising money with book about Senoia

The Senoia Optimist Club is selling copies of a new book about Senoia to raise funds for local youth. Senoia Optimists Hal Sewell and Jane Hutchinson hold a copy of "Holiday Perspectives in Senoia," which debuts at Senoia's Memorial Day Celebration on Main Street Monday.   The book features local history and recipes.  Books will be sold exclusively through the Optimist Club through the end of June.  The Senoia Optimist Club provides scholarships and other benefits for youth. Optimists will be set up in front of the Clearance Center at Hollberg's Furniture Store in Senoia on Monday, May 31.  Fo Read More»
