Curtis Jackson, 94, of Fayetteville, died June 2, 2010.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific. Mr. Jackson retired from the FAA, Southern Region. He is survived by his daughter Mary Lou Miller of Fayetteville; son Curtis Jackson of Woodstock; grandchildren Vickie Achinger of Marietta, Dee Jackson of Marietta, Christine Shaffer of Acworth, Brian Jackson of Holly Springs, NC, Dianne Carnicom of Newnan, and Bonnie Aspinwall of Sharpsburg; and 10 great-grandchildren. John Edward Hallwood, 64, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010. He was a devoted husband and caring father, a man of character, and great faith. His sense of humor will be missed by his friends and family. Mr. Hallwood grew up in Miami, FL, attended Miami High School and University of Florida. After service in the Air Force, he was a pilot for Eastern Airlines for 25 years, owner of Prime Time Paintball in Senoia and more recently a trader on the foreign currency exchange.
