Mr. William Albert (Bill) Davis, Jr., age 84 of Conyers, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Holloway Davis. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Heather and David Lee; son and daughter-in-law, Bert and Debbie Davis; granddaughters, Lindsay and Abby Davis, all of Fayetteville.

Born in Augusta, Ga., Bill was the son of William Albert Davis and Ruth Purvis Davis.

After graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology, he served in the U.S. Army as an instructor in the Southeastern Signal School in the 1950's. Read More»

Lieutenant General (Retired) John J. Yeosock was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. March 18 1937, and passed Feb. 15, 2012 in Peachtree City, Ga.

Rosa Tramonte Carpenter, age 45, died on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, in Gulfport, Miss., after a long illness. She was surrounded by her family and friends during her last evening.

Rosa was born in New Orleans and attended Catholic Schools in Metairie, La. She moved to the Gulf Coast in the mid 90's and has worked in the food service industry across the coast. Read More»

Brother of Carolyn Montana (Robert), Daniel Martin (Sally) and Robert (Maureen) and the late James and Susan Lyn. Son of the late Daniel Foley and Eleanor Louise (nee Martin).

Alice Loraine Parker was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on Jan. 29, 1954. She was the second born of five siblings, born to the late Marjorie Cox and Larus Parker.

Alice resided in Los Angeles until the family moved to Denver in 1969 and she attended George Washington High School where she was an honor student. Alice completed her undergraduate education at Colorado State University were she received a BS in Political Science. He graduated from Phillips High School in Birmingham in 1959 and received an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy, class of 1963, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Science. Pat Shepherd of Newnan passed away at his home Feb. 4, 2012 after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born in Griffin, Ga., Feb. 28, 1948 and was raised in Newnan. He graduated from Newnan High School in 1966 where he was salutatorian. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Wood of Senoia; mother, Penny Robinson of Fayetteville; children, Angelina, Adrianna and Ethan.
