Marie Valentino

Marie Valentino (nee Santoro), 98, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2010.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Nicholas Valentino; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters. Marie was the loving mother of Janice Wagner (husband, Dave), Kent Valentino (wife, Joan); grandmother of Tamara, Mark, Lisa, John, Kristi, and Jonna; proud great-grandmother of 9; and dear aunt of many. 

The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 3 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City.  The interment will be held at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio at a future date.  Read More»

Margaret Nall Spears of Riverdale

Margaret Nall Spears, a long-time resident of Riverdale, GA and later at Baptist Manor in Palmetto, died peacefully at Lafayette Nursing Home in Fayetteville on July 29, 2010.

She retired from the Atlanta Public School System with over 20 years of service. In later years, she was a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Riverdale’s Senior Citizens’ organizations, and her beloved church, Riverdale First Baptist. “Miss Margaret” was a pillar of her church and community. Doris Eloise Dutton, 81, of Fayetteville

Doris Eloise Dutton, 81, of Fayetteville, died July 19, 2010.

She was born in Sparta, Wisconsin to parents Henry and Bessie Ninneman. She graduated from Sparta High School and received a teaching degree from University of Wisconsin LaCrosse. She married James P. Dutton August 9, 1952. They raised five children in Brown Deer and Onalaska, Wisconsin, moving to Georgia in 1980.
