She was born on Oct. 17, 1937 in Ragland, Ala.

Stan Braxton, MSgt, USAF (Retired), 51, of Fayetteville, N.C. passed away Dec. 16, 2011.

Mr. Braxton served his country & retired from the USAF after 22 years of service, 17 of which were with the 24th Special Tactics Squadron as a Combat Controller.

After her fight with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, Vicki Bensch Sandberg, 60, of Fayetteville, Ga. since 2005, originally from West Palm Beach, Fla., died peacefully on Dec. 13, 2011. She was born on Feb. 7, 1951.

Vicki spent her career as an administrative assistant for lawyers, United Way of Palm Beach County and Clayton County Superior Court.

G. Wayne DuBose passed away Dec. 6, 2011 after a strong battle with cancer.

He was born Dec. 16, 1944 in New Brockton, Ala. After service with the USMC, he pursued a career in aviation maintenance. In 1974, he moved to Fayetteville, Ga., and began work with Delta Airlines, retiring in 2005 as an Aircraft Inspection foreman.
