Archie H. Shadle, 71, of Peachtree City, passed away February 15, 2014.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy and later worked for Delta Airlines. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Shadle and sister Janice Rothermel.

Pascal Quentin Jones, 59, of Fayetteville, passed away February 15, 2014.

He worked for over 20 years at the Atlanta Journal & Constitution. He was an active member at McDonough Road Baptist Church. After his retirement he enjoyed volunteering at the Wellspring Thrift Store in Peachtree City.

He was preceded in death by his parents J.Q ‚”Pete” Jones & Wilna Northcutt.

Sidney Johnston Cook III, 80, of Peachtree City, Ga.

Since he was a young boy growing up in Moultrie, Ga., Sidney Johnston Cook III wanted to fly.

His dream came true when he graduated from the Aviation Cadets Training Program in June, 1955. He got his wings, his commission and a new bride all in one week.

He served three years in the United States Air Force before settling down with his wife, Melba Schwall, in metro Atlanta to begin a career as a commercial airline pilot with Southern Airways. Over his thirty-year airline career, Sid flew the DC-3, Martin 404, DC-9 and Boeing 757. Read More»

Robert Matthew Nolan arrived in this world on March 7, 1934 and departed peacefully on February 13, 2014.

Bob lived his life as a beloved son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Bob was born in Milford, Conn. and as a young man joined the Marines and saw some of the world during the Korean War. He returned to Milford and started to raise his family.
