Ernest L. Sumner of Peachtree City

Ernest L. Sumner passed away at home in Peachtree City, Ga. on February 12, 2014 after battling liver and colon cancer for several months.

He was born on April 27, 1931 in Harlan County, Kentucky, the last of nine children, to Mack and Cora Sumner. The Sumners moved to LaFollette, Tenn. when Ernest was a young boy. William Elwyn Aultman, age 75, of Fayetteville, Ga., passed away February 9, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his son Rex Aultman and father Owen Aultman.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Gloria Aultman; mother Emmie G. Aultman of Bainbridge, Ga.; son Roy Aultman & wife Jessica of Fairburn, Ga.; daughter Amy Helm & husband Patrick of Elizabethtown, Ky.; grandchildren John Selman, Sarah Selman, and Raelee Helm; brother Hilton Aultman & wife Margaret; and niece Laura Aultman Fortino. John Leonard, age 85

We celebrated the life of John Leonard on Friday, February 7th at 10:30 at  Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City.

John passed away on February 3rd after a brief illness. He was 85 years old.

William Henry Newman III, age 74, of Peachtree City

William “Bill” Henry Newman III, age 74, of Peachtree City, Ga. passed away on February 4, 2014.

He was born in Atlanta, Ga. on February 8, 1939 to the late Bill and Mable Newman. He was raised in the Ben Hill area. He graduated from Brown High School. He was a US Army Veteran.
