Daphna Odell Scott, 86, of Peachtree City died March 15, 2010.

Mrs. Scott had resided at Southland Nursing & Rehab for a year and a half when she passed away. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Ford Scott & her daughter Priscilla.  She is survived by her son Philip Scott & his wife LaDonna of  Peachtree City; grandchildren Paula Hardy of Carrollton, Steve Partain of Ellenwood, Ryan Scott & Tyler Scott, both of Peachtree City, and four great-grandchildren. Windel W. Norton, 66, of Fayetteville

After a long and brave battle against Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and lung cancer, Windel W. Norton, 66, passed away at his residence on March 12, 2010 with his wife, daughter, and youngest brother by his side.

Born Nov. 21, 1943, in Pelham, Ga., to the late Curtis and Ruth Norton, Windel joined the United States Army in 1962. He was stationed in Augsburg, Germany where he met his wife, Monika. Judith Sundloff

After a heroic three-year battle with cancer, Judith J. Sundloff mercifully passed away on March 13, 2010. Her treasure of loving family surrounded her as she succumbed to Brain Cancer.

Judy was the second of five children born in September 1960 to John and Margeret Jakuback in New Rochelle, New York. She attended New Rochelle High School, Westechester College, and moved to Central Florida in 1980. She attended The Florida Institute of Technology and met her husband, Fred Sundloff, in 1986. Mr. Ralph Van Hicks, 57, of Fayetteville

Mr. Ralph Van Hicks, 57, of Fayetteville, died on March 13, 2010 following a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

Van was a loving husband, father, brother and son and was the “ultimate family man.” He was active for many years in youth sports leagues in the Morrow and Lake City area. He is still affectionately known to many as “Coach Van.” He and his wife Karen owned and operated Karavan Doors for 27 years. Walter James Waggoner, 94, of Brooks

Walter James Waggoner, 94, of Brooks, died March 10, 2010.

He was a simple kind of man who loved to tell stories and was affectionately known as “ Boom Pa.” He retired from General Motors after 35 years of service.
