William “Everette” Webb, 92, of Fayetteville

William “Everette” Webb, 92, of Fayetteville, died June 18, 2010.

He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was retired after 32 years with Ford Motor Company. Mr. Webb was a very active and long-time member and deacon at McDonough Road Baptist Church. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church of Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl F. Meier, Jr.

She is survived by her sons Harry Jay and Brenda Meier of Fayetteville and Carl F. Mildred (Mickie) Smyser, 77, of Kokomo, died on Tuesday June 15th, 2010, after a brief illness while visiting her daughter’s home in Georgia. She was born in Clinton County, TN on December 19, 1932 to Floyd and Stella (Turner) Foust.

Mildred married Billy J. Smyser on March 17, 1950, in Kokomo. She graduated from Kokomo High School and had been employed at First National Bank and for the Nassar Cardiology Group in Indianapolis. Read More»

Mildred Colley Moore, 85, of Fayetteville, died June 7, 2010.

She was a member of the White County Historical Society. Her love for Hawaiian music was showcased in the Atlanta area by playing for the troops and a WSB radio in the early 1940s.
