Mrs. Esta Elizabeth Thompson (Howell) died Sunday, November 14, 2010, age 97.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. “Slim” Thompson, and her son, Donald H. Thompson.

She is survived by her son Weyman E. Thompson of Newnan; daughter, Glenna T. Moss and her husband James of Fayetteville; sons, James Dell Thompson and his wife Jerry Anne of Wedowee , AL , and Richard C. Mr. Vincent Waite, of Senoia, age 79, died November 13, 2010.

Mrs. Vera F. Houston, of Jonesboro, and a long-time Fayette County resident, passed away on November 13, 2010 at the age of 84.

Mrs. Houston was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed all types of sewing and cooking.

He was a deacon at McDonough Road Baptist Church. His childhood love for planes led him to a career in aviation and membership into the Commerative Air Force in Peachtree City.
