Etta Carreker Crews, 94, of Pine Mountain died peacefully Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Florence Hand Nursing Home in LaGrange, GA.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell and Son Funeral Home, 180 North Jeff Davis Drive, Fayetteville . Rev. Glenn Stringham and Rev. Allen Bridgman will officiate. Interment will follow at 4:30 PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville, GA. Mrs. Garner was born on September 25, 1913, in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in Cabool, Missouri, to the late Grover Cleveland (G.C.) Hardin and Iva Ann Weber Hardin. She was the third of ten children. She was the daughter of the late John Callaway Little and Minnie Ellan Little of Atlanta. She retired from Wal-Mart in Fayetteville, Ga., and worked part-time after her retirement for many years at Publix Supermarket in Peachtree City, Ga.
