Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents William Smith and Katheryne Stephenson Smith.

Mrs. Vera Lucile Tanner, 93, of Fayetteville, went to be with Jesus on January 24, 2011.

Mrs. Tanner was born in Lakeland, FL to the Late Mr. Jefferson Robert Marshall and Mrs. Beulah Mae Rush Marshall. She resided in central Florida until moving to Georgia in 1982.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Lester Tanner.

She is survived by her daughters, Joan Branton of Fayetteville, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Bea) Martin of Ormond Beach, FL; seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Read More»

Mr. Matthew Kyle Garrity, 27, of Senoia

Mr. Matthew Kyle Garrity, of Senoia, GA, passed away suddenly on January 22, 2011 at the age of 27.

Matthew was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, proudly serving as a fire fighter at bases in Germany and Kuwait. Following his military career, he continued as a firefighter with the Dobbins Fire and Emergency Services at Dobbins Air Reserve Base. Matthew was an avid salt water fisherman and loved to cook. Mrs. Frances Hunt Landgrebe, 93, of Fayetteville/East Point, went home to be with her Lord and Savior January 19, 2011, after spending many months at Southwest Christian Care Hospice.

Mrs. Landgrebe is preceded in death by her husband Hilbert Henry Landgrebe.

Mr. Calvin L. Fralish, 82, of Peachtree City

Mr. Calvin L. Fralish, of Peachtree City, passed away on January 21, 2011 at the age of 82.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather best remembered by his grandchildren for their special times on golf cart rides and the way he loved to spoil them. He was an avid golfer who belonged to the Canongate Country Club where he was a part of the “Fryer Group.” Mr. Fralish attended the Christ’s Church at Whitewater where he was a member of the Challenger Sunday School class.
