Avery Bailey age 89 of Locust Grove

Avery (A.O.) Bailey age 89 of Locust Grove, Ga. passed away on March 23, 2014. He was a loving and generous husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

A.O. was a proud World War II veteran who served his country in the Air Force. He was based in London and flew 25 raids over enemy lines in the B-17 as a flight engineer/gunner. Freddie Lamar Carr, 70, of Sharpsburg, Ga. passed away March 14, 2014.

Born on October 25, 1943 to Frances and Johnnie Carr, he grew up on a farm in LaGrange, Ga. and continued to remain active at the farm his entire adult life. He graduated from Georgia State University. He retired from IBM after 30+ years of dedicated service. She was a 1983 graduate of Fayette County High School. She attended Georgia College in Milledgeville on an athletic scholarship and graduated with an accounting degree. She founded Webster Residential Properties and currently worked with Freudenberg Texbond as an accountant. She has a mini-farm and loved animals.
