Mr. James Donald Odom, 90, of Tyrone, passed away on March 14, 2011.

Mr. Odom was a member of a Masonic Lodge. He is preceded in death by his son Harry Odom; great-grandchild Kirkland Scott; brother, Bill Odom; sisters Cleitus Smith and Helen Oliver. Mrs. Elizabeth “Blondie” Swetmon, 87, of Christian City, formerly of East Point and Fayetteville, passed away on March 14, 2011.

Mrs. Swetmon was a very loving and generous person who never met a stranger. She was an adventurous lady who spent time outdoors, fishing and enjoyed reading. She adored her poodles, Beegee and Bo. She retired from Nabisco with over 43 years of dedicated service. Read More»

Juanita Kirkpatrick Wilhelm, 82, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2011 in Peachtree City, GA after having been diagnosed with lung cancer in January of this year.

Juanita was born and raised in Paint Rock Valley, Alabama and had resided in Huntsville for the last nine years. She lived in Orlando, Florida from 1956-2002 with her husband of 56 years, George Brooks Wilhelm, who passed away in 2002. Mrs. Lily Lebby Marvin Smith died at her residence on March 7, 2011. She was born in Charleston, SC on September 3, 1925, but had lived in Peachtree City for the last 22 years. Her parents and her two brothers predeceased her. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Herbert P. Patricia Ann “Pat” Gunny, 69, of Newnan, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away March 11, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer.
