Mrs. Kathleen “Kay” Rochelle Sharp, 44, of Senoia

Mrs. Kathleen “Kay” Rochelle Sharp, of Senoia, passed away on June 16, 2011 following a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 44.

She was a loving wife, daughter and sister, who was extremely kind, caring and faithful. She was a member of Gracepointe Church and is described as a “Woman of faith,” one who harbored no anger and was always quick to forgive. Kay graduated from Riverdale High School in 1985, before beginning a 13-year career with Chick-fil-A at their corporate headquarters.

Mrs. Emmi Hanni Wuerz, of Fayetteville, passed away on June 11, 2011 at the age of 86.

Lovingly known as “Oma,” she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who believed in the importance of family. Emmi came to the United States from her home in Germany on December 12, 1999 and the family celebrated that occasion each year. She was born in Nahant, Mass., on Nov. 2, 1930 and raised in Lynn. Married 60 years to her husband, Will, who preceded her in death 2 1/2 years ago, she saw the world as a young military wife and mother raising her children, Donna Groover of Peachtree City and Steven Landry of Lynn, MA.

She is survived also by her three grandchildren, Brian, Keith and Lauren Groover, who reside in Texas and six great grandchildren: Trevin, Corbin, Anderson, Breslyn, Bennett and Hayes, who all knew her as Nonnie. Read More»

Anna Elizabeth Van Horn, 9, of Peachtree City, GA was involved in a tragic accident on June 3, 2011 that sent her to Heaven.

Anna was a very beautiful, outgoing and intelligent girl with an “old soul.” She loved animals, art, music, and to ride horses. Justin Bieber and Bon Jovi are among her favorite musicians. She adopted Phoenix, a right whale from the New England Aquarium. Anna was taking guitar lessons and preparing to audition for chorus. Mrs. Marciano is survived by her son, Stephen Marciano and his wife Eileen; daughter Joan Schloegel and her husband George; son Joseph Marciano and his wife Deborah; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister.

Randolph H. Crider, 84, of Peachtree City

After a brief illness, Randolph H. Crider, 84, of Peachtree City, Georgia died peacefully Tuesday, June 7, 2011, with family by his side.

He was born in St. Matthews, SC on December 14, 1926. Randy joined the Navy and was stationed in Maine as a 3rd Class Yeoman during WWII. He attended the University of SC and retired in 1990 from Burroughs/Unisys after 42 years of service.
