Gordon Lewis Haygood, age 70 of Fayetteville

Mr. Haygood was born in Acworth, GA on January 24th 1941 to the late Mr. James Thomas Haygood and Ms. Lorene Martin. He was preceded in death by his sister Ms. Imogene Wilkey.

Mr. Haygood is survived by his wife of 51 years Mrs. Julia E. Haygood and daughter Summer Haygood , both of Fayetteville. He is also survived by his brother Grady T. Donna Ruth Yoder, 73, of Fayetteville passed away June 18, 2011. She was a member of Harps Crossing Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters Robin Veld and her husband Daryl, of Mingo, IA, Lori Loewer and her husband Dennis of Fayetteville, and Gayle Yoder of Woodland, CA; grandchildren Seth, Sean, Nathan, Natlie, Shelby, Shane, Kimberly, and Kevin.

Mrs. Pope was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas T. Pope.

Survivors include daughter Andrea Camp; grandson Jordan Camp; sisters Barbara Reid and Sue Rogers.

Harold E. Barnett, 74, of Fayetteville

Harold E. Barnett, 74, of Fayetteville, GA, passed away on June 16, 2011.

He was born in Atlanta, GA on July 27, 1936 to the late Thomas S. and Annie Lou Barnett. He served 2 years in the US Marine Corps and 3 years in the US Army. He was a member of the sheet metal workers of Amer Local 85. He retired from BH&W Sheet Metal Co. after 35 years. He grew up in Hapeville, GA, living in Fayetteville GA the last 35 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.

Mrs. Kathleen “Kay” Rochelle Sharp, 44, of Senoia

Mrs. Kathleen “Kay” Rochelle Sharp, of Senoia, passed away on June 16, 2011 following a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 44.

She was a loving wife, daughter and sister, who was extremely kind, caring and faithful. She was a member of Gracepointe Church and is described as a “Woman of faith,” one who harbored no anger and was always quick to forgive. Kay graduated from Riverdale High School in 1985, before beginning a 13-year career with Chick-fil-A at their corporate headquarters.

Mrs. Emmi Hanni Wuerz, of Fayetteville, passed away on June 11, 2011 at the age of 86.

Lovingly known as “Oma,” she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who believed in the importance of family. Emmi came to the United States from her home in Germany on December 12, 1999 and the family celebrated that occasion each year.
