William K. Cress, 75, of Fayetteville

William K. (Bill) Cress, 75, of Fayetteville, entered into eternal rest to be with the Lord on August 2, 2011. He died of complications from acute leukemia. He was born May 3, 1936 in Butler, Tennessee. Bill graduated from Carson-Newman College in 1958 and entered the U.S. Army shortly after graduation. After serving his country, Bill started his career with Delta Air Lines in 1961. He spent most of his 33 years as an Internal Auditor for the airline.
