Episcopal Church of the Nativity to hold benefit sale of ‘fair traded’ arts and crafts

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville will conduct a “Ten Thousand Villages Festival Sale” April 19 and 20 to benefit the ministries of the parish. Holy Trinity K of C will participate in Stations of the Cross this year

Holy Trinity Church Knights of Columbus Council 8081 continues with a long standing tradition of helping out with the church activities. One of the council’s yearly favorite projects is to participate in the stations of the cross.

Each of 14 Knights mans a station position describing the meaning of the station and leading the prayers for that station. The ceremony is accompanied by a full dress choir.

Each week a different church group leads the stations of the cross.

Providence to host faith workshop

Providence UMC will host a “Share Your Faith” workshop from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on April 13. All teens through adults are invited to attend.

The $30 cost of the workshop covers materials, coffee breaks and lunch. To sign up for the workshop, go to www.syfonline.org.

Freedom to Live plans two events

Freedom to Live Ministries will host two free ladies’ events.

A Women Pastors and Pastors’ Wives Fellowship will be held Friday, April 12, at 7 p.m.

A Ladies One Night Encounter, “One Night With the King,” will be held Friday, June 6, at 7 p.m.

Good Shepherd Baptist is celebrating five years of faith

The Church of the Good Shepherd-Baptist in South Fulton County is celebrating five years of service to the community. Dr. Matthew V. Johnson Sr., pastor, founded the church to provide a worship experience “free of false promises” and a Bible Study “where the unadulterated Word of God is taught with truth and conviction.”
