Early deadline for July 6 paper
The Citizen offices will be closed Monday, July 4, for the holiday and the normal Monday deadline will be changed. The deadline will be noon on Friday, July 1, for religion articles, weddings, engagements and births to be published on Wednesday, July 6. Please make a note of this on your calendars.

PTC’s All Saints Anglican will host healing program Saturday

All Saints Anglican Church will offer a free, two-part healing program on Saturday, June 18 which is open to the public.

The first part of the program is a three-hour seminar beginning at 9 a.m. which covers the basics of healing and provides important knowledge for those seeking divine healing. A Bible study on the subject is included.

Bowron to be ordained at Episcopal Church of the Nativity this Sunday

The Rev. Deacon Josh Bowron, formerly of Fayetteville

The Rev. Deacon Josh Bowron, formerly of Fayetteville, will be ordained to the Episcopal priesthood Saturday, June 18, in a service starting at 10 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville.

The Rt. Rev. Neil Alexander, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, will officiate. The Rev. Rita Henault, rector of the parish, will formally present Bowron for ordination. A reception in the parish hall will follow the service. Read More»

Nativity youth group leaves for mission in North Carolina

Ten young people and adults from the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, Fayetteville, will leave Sunday, June 19, for a one-week work camp mission in Lexington, N.C.

Parish youth on the trip will be Eli Jentzen, Breahna McNeirney, Zavi Norman, Lachlan Page, Zebulon Page, Olivia Richburg and Victoria Richburg. They will be accompanied by the Rev. Rita Henault, rector, and her husband, Mark, and by Bob Page, a vestry member. Read More»

All Saints’ annual music camp set for July 11-15

All Saints Anglican Church in Peachtree City will conduct its annual free children’s Music Camp July 11-15.

The featured theme, “Sing To The Lord A New Song,” will be evident in traditional hymns and praise songs, as well as scripture verses and messages.

Curriculum for the camp is a potpouri of music, singing, dancing, and instruction in various instruments, composition, and art. It also features contests, games and snacks. No previous experience is required. Read More»

Register now for Heritage Christian’s WinShape C3 Day Camp

Registration is now open for Winshape C3 Camp, which will be hosted by Heritage Christian Church, July 11-15. The day camp is open to all students who have completed first through sixth grade. Camp runs from 7:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. Cost is $179 for a full week of camp. A deposit of $50 is due upon registration.
