Mrs. Patricia Miller Haage of Fairburn

Mrs. Patricia Miller Haage of Fairburn (formerly of Minneapolis) passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Russell Haage and is survived by her daughter, Heidi Winter and husband, Alan of Fairburn; sons, Bret Haage of Minneapolis, Minn., Greg Haage and wife, Denise of Golden Valley, Minn.; sisters, Janis Culver of Fairburn, Gwynna Taylor of Springfield, Vt.; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Winter officiating. Read More»

Orville Barber, age 82

Orville Barber went to be with his wife, Betty of 58 years on Dec. 11, 2012 at the age of 82.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana and three sons, Geoffery, Douglas and James.

Orville is survived by a daughter, Karin and two sons, Timothy and wife, Katherine and David and wife, Tammy. He is also survived by eight (8) grandchildren and they are Jackie, Travis, Rebecca, Matthew, Hannah, Connor, Brad and Samya.

Orville has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Carmel United Methodist Church at 611 Taunton Road, Alvaton, Ga. 30218. Read More»

Mrs. Maezie Zorn Lawrence, age 76 of Griffin, passed away on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Lawrence was born on Sept. 14, 1936 in Ashburn, Ga., but was raised in Irwinville, Ga.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Zorn and Margaret Ponder Zorn.

Mrs. Lawrence was a former member of the Spalding Hospital Auxiliary and a member of First United Methodist Church. Read More»
