COS plans Service of Hope Feb. 4l
The public is invited to a Service of Hope at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. The featured speaker is Karl Dietmeyer, musician and conductor, Delta pilot, and love researcher. Dietmeyer has investigated ways to more effectively and creatively express love for several years. Music will be led by the Christ Our Shepherd Flute Choir. These bi-monthly services always include communion and prayers for healing.

New year, new lease on life

Fairburn resident discusses CTCA and healthy living

Roderick Echols of Fairburn was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer in June of last year. When CTCA at Southeastern Regional Medical Center opened its doors in Newnan on August 15, 2012, he was one of the first patients at the facility. Things have gone well for Echols since he began his treatment and he has nothing but positive things to say about CTCA and the care he received there. Read More»

Congregation B’nai Israel will sponsor an evening of dinner, dance, dance lessons and performances Saturday, Jan. 26, from 8 p.m. until midnight at the Newnan Community Theatre Company (#24 1st Avenue). The evening will feature the sounds of “Second Time Around.” The cost is $25 per person and includes live music and dinner. Middle schoolers are invited to “Blast Night” at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church on Jan. 19 from 6 p.m.-midnight at the church.
