He was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Stephens.

Risen Fest to rock Fayetteville May 8

Organizers recently announced the 2010 date for the popular Christian music festival Risen Fest. This second annual, free admission event will take place on May 8, at 7 p.m. at The Villages Amphitheater in Fayetteville.

Bringing more than 1,000 people in 2009, Risen Fest launched its explosive first annual kick-off as a community outreach event to celebrate the church’s five year anniversary.
