The bride-to-be is a contract manager for Panasonic and a resident of Peachtree City.

The groom-elect is a field service planner for ADT and a resident of Acworth.

The couple will be married in April, 2010, at Dogwood Church in Tyrone.

Following their honeymoon the couple will reside in Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a bachelor of science, majoring in exercise and sports science, and a graduate of Clemson University with a master’s in business administration. Continuing sale of used items at PTC library

The Friends of the Peachtree City Library conducts a continuing sale of used books, CDs, audio books, and videos at the library. Sale books are located on the shelves nearest the reference desk.  Hardcover books sell for $2.00; paperbacks, for as little as 50 cents; and electronic media, for $2.00. Books, music CDs, audio books, and DVDs may be donated at any time at the circulation desk. The Friends organization is a 501c3, non-profit organization and all sale proceeds benefit the library, including the children’s summer reading program. Read More»

Janis Kraft of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty in Peachtree City recently completed the special Coldwell Banker Military Market Training. This special training is part of the comprehensive Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation effort to serve the special housing needs of military personnel.

PTC Rotary honors 2009 Firefighter of the Year

Rotary Club of Peachtree City president Doc Jaleel (right) congratulates the 2009 Fire Fighter of the Year recipient, Battalion Commander David Williamson at the Fire Fighters annual awards banquet held Jan. 30.

David Williamson, Battalion Commander for the Peachtree City Fire / Rescue Department was selected by his peers as the 2009 Fire Fighter of the Year.   He is noted as being a major force in the Department's 2009 success.
