Hal and Kathy Strickland of Brunswick announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharon Theresa Strickland, to William Michael Brady Jr., son of Bill and Keiren Brady of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a bachelor of science, majoring in exercise and sports science, and a graduate of Clemson University with a master’s in business administration. The Friends of the Peachtree City Library conducts a continuing sale of used books, CDs, audio books, and videos at the library. Sale books are located on the shelves nearest the reference desk.  Hardcover books sell for $2.00; paperbacks, for as little as 50 cents; and electronic media, for $2.00. Books, music CDs, audio books, and DVDs may be donated at any time at the circulation desk.
