Back in 2012, I put the original “Hunger Games” on my Best of the Year list. It had everything I love about film: intriguing characters, intense action and a very engaging narrative.
It left me pumped up and ready for “Catching Fire.”
While I was not as big a fan of “Catching Fire” as other critics, I did enjoy it for the same reasons they did: a tight story, even better action and great development of its characters.
