Republican Women’s Club closes out year with Christmas party

The Greater Fayette Republican Women’s Club had it’s annual Christmas Party at the Rebecca Lakes Clubhouse. Invited Commissioners, Judges, and other Fayette County elected officials were present.The Rev. Carl Dorsey began with prayer and pledge while member Diadra Dorsey entertained singing songs of the season.

Honored guest, Georgia National Committee Woman Linda Herren, spoke about the chapters President Grace Caldwell; whom she is honored to work with in  many official capacities today and the upcoming years. Caldwell, who was not able to attend the party. Cathy McMullen also a member and Director of Embracing Military Families spoke about the toy collection for Ft. Benning and her Wounded Warriors commitment for next year.

The club sponsors EMF and collected toys along with monetary donations. Hospitality Co-chair Dot Ensley set the mood with lovely Christmas decor’ and as always organized plenty of  food that was meticulously, festively displayed.
