Hwy 92 south of Fayetteville closed due to crash

Ga. Highway 92 at Hilo Road has been closed temporarily at 2 p.m. today after a dump truck struck a power pole, causing live power lines to fall across the highway, officials said.

Crews from Coweta-Fayette EMC are on the scene but an extended repair time is being predicted as a new power pole must be brought in to replace the damaged one, officials said.
