Annual Noel November event set for Saturday

Each year the Fayette County Board of Realtors organizes a huge holiday extravaganza benefiting local charities. This year’s event will raise money for Fayette Youth Protection Home, Fayette Senior Services, Promise Place, The Breast Cancer Survivor’s Network, the Joseph Sams School, and the St.Vincent dePaul Society.  Last year Noel November raised approximately $31,182.

For the past 17 years, the official Fayette County  holiday season begins with Noel November, a Celebration of  Trees and a Tradition of Giving Back to the Community. This year’s event will be held on November 12, at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center. The open house will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will display an extensive winter wonderland full of decorated trees donated by area businesses, community groups and special interest clubs.  Visitors will enjoy live performances from local chorales and dance troops as they stroll through the holiday event.  Santa Clause promises to take some time out of his busy schedule for photo opportunities with area children.

Thousands of twinkle lights will glow into the evening for continued festivities.  Lasting from 6 to 11p.m., the band, “Second Time Around” will entertain the holiday crowd.  Heavy hors d’oeuvres created especially for the event by award winning chefs at the Wyndham, and a cash bar promise to delight all guests.  A silent auction with a large assortment of items donated from area businesses will make it easy for every participant to shop for Christmas.  From wreaths to Christmas trees to large gift baskets, and artwork, shoppers will find unusual gifts and support many causes at the same time.

The Noel and November committee stated, “This year promises to be fun and entertaining and more and more surprises to come as the event gets closer!”  Tickets are only $20 for evening the event and daytime activities are free and open to the public.

The Fayette County Board of Realtors is a professional organization for Realtors. Realtors are members of National Association of Realtors and uphold the highest of professional standards. Not all who practice real estate are REALTORS.  For more information on how to utilize the services of a REALTOR versus just a real estate agent, go to  www.fayetterealtors.com
