St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church’s ‘Greekfest’ set for Sept. 15 in Peachtree City
St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church will host its eighth annual GreekFest on Sept. 15 at Falcon Field in Peachtree City. Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Advance tickets are $50 per person and include food, adult beverages, soft drinks and dancing to the Grecian Echoes.
All parishioners, young and old, are involved in ticket sales, decorating, preparing Greek appetizers, entrees and pastries, entertaining, serving, cleanup and more.
All proceeds are applied to the building fund. In 2006, the parish purchased ten acres of land on Ebenezer Road in Fayette County. The land mortgage has now been paid off and the next phase of the building program will begin.
