Woman seriously injured in Senoia collision Thursday morning

Senoia Police reported that a Waverly Hall woman was listed in serious but stable condition after her vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer Thursday morning at the intersection of Ga. Highway 85 and Ga. Highway 16.

Though all details are not yet available, Senoia Police spokesman Steve Tomlin said the accident occurred at 9:29 a.m. when the unidentified driver of a 2009 Kenworth tractor-trailer failed to yield the right of way at the intersection, striking Waverly Hall resident Selina Blake.

Tomlin said the tractor-trailer was southbound on Hwy. 85 and began turning left onto Hwy. 16. Blake was headed north on Hwy. 85 driving a 1997 Acura, Tomlin said. The semi essentially turned into Blake's vehicle, Tomlin said.

“The tractor-trailer actually climbed on top of her car,” Tomlin said, adding that the Acura was severely damaged from the impact. “She was very, very lucky that she wasn’t killed.”

Blake was flown by helicopter to Grady Memorial Hospital where she was listed Thursday in serious but stable condition, Tomlin said.

Tomlin said the accident is under investigation and charges are pending.

God sure was with her yesterday cause she couldve easily been killed. Shes usually got her little kids with her and thank God she didnt though. Please pray for her to have a successful recovery. Thank you and God bless. -Alton Congo Jr.

"By The Grace Of God!" "God sure was with her yesterday!" "and thank God she didn't though!" (have her little kids) "Please pray for her, thank you and God bless!"

God created this mess we have made, but he doesn't cause such as this! Nor prevent it!

How about one of your patented sonnets on this story.

I think not! What sonnets that I write usually have to do with politicians or some such dudes.

There are 30,000 different religions I understand in the world, maybe more, some only have one village or less as members.

My way of looking at the NYC Mosque is that the so-called "sacred, or holy, or others, is not the problem' Spys in there is!

Maybe we need to close the Luthern Churches, didn't they come from Germany?

Well actually CHR$

When Martin Luther tacked his 95 Theses on the church door, Germany was not a nation as such. It was regions defined as Imperial Circles under what was called the Holy Roman Empire. The creation of the Germany nation did not occur until 1871.

Oh. so the people were all sent away when Germany was formed and new ones moved in?

And I suppose they are also not the "great hordes of Huns" who sacked the cities, spoken of in the Bible?

The reign of the Huns occurred well after Apostle John wrote 3: John.

Lucky indeed....

That tractor truck made a left hand turn in-front of the little car and then actually climbed on top of the car. Yikes!!! I sure hope the car's drive makes a fast recovery. Be careful out there.
