Did you hear the one about the meth lab in a backpack?

Channel 2 did. Guy walks into Walmart in PTC to buy some of that cold medicine you make meth with and when the police caught up with him he had a mobile meth lab in his backpack. Dude was from Newnan.

I guess old Chief Murray was right about one thing - big boxes and apartments will increase your crime rate. That was interpreted as big boxes and apartments actually cause crime, so don't fall into that trap, but that is something to consider when council approves big boxes and apartments - especially subsidized ones. I think the rule of thumb is for every 50,000 square feet of big box or every 100 apartments, we need to purchase 1 more police car. Now thanks to Mr. Haddix we have some seniors apartments (only the financing is subsidized through tax credits) across from Target. Another crime zone. MAYBE WE CAN JUST PARK THOSE EXTRA POLICE CARS UP THERE. GENERALLY SPEAKING SENIORS RESPECT THE LAW AND MIGHT BE DISCOURAGED FROM COOKING METH IN THE PARKING LOT.
