3 youths arrested in Fayetteville burglary

Three teenagers were arrested early Tuesday morning after an officer spotted a suspicious skateboarder in a south Fayetteville subdivision around 5 a.m., police said.

The skateboarder dropped the box, which turned out to be a safe, and ran away from the officer in the Lakemont subdivision, police said. A police K-9 unit and other officers conducted a search which led to a home on GlenWood Lane where one person was found hiding in the bushes and two were hiding inside the house. The subdivision is located off Redwine Road in the southwestern part of Fayetteville.

One of the suspects lived in the GlenWood home, police said. The investigation showed that the three had entered a Lakemont home twice during the night, taking several guitars, speakers, an Xbox video game system and games along with two safes that were recovered from the scene, police said.

Arrested were Ryan Pfaffman, 17, of Fayetteville, Kemanu-Asser Supreme Black, 17, of Fayetteville and a 15-year-old male juvenile, police said. All three were charged with loitering, underage possession of alcohol and two counts of burglary, officials said. [NOTE: The names are reproduced exactly as spelled in the email release from the police department.]

The parents

knew what type of child they wanted. Why not start with a name that pigeonhole's the kid.

the mother should be arrested for naming her child such a name! She set that kid up for all kinds of harassment and trouble!

Sympathy

I'm somewhat sympathetic for at least one of these kids.

Kemanu-Asser Supreme Black? Really? Kid had no chance, but to grow up angry. Love how the writer even takes a hands off approach to these names with the caveat at the end that they only duplicated the names directly from the police report.

Yes, questionable---almost as bad as Biggie Weiner!

And then there is: King George Washington Bush; Dick Cheney and Dick Nixon; John Boner; and Long John Silver!

It's true. According to what I found on-line he was born in Tarrant County, Tx.

Have you ever noticed that none of these bank robberies with guns, etc., has not been once by a Mexican?

They work and have some money. Don't they?

They (the smart ones) also don't fool with the small change---dope is the moneymaker (selling not taking it).

Well roundabout...

"Have you ever noticed that none of these bank robberies with guns, etc., has not been once by a Mexican?"

At the risk of sprinkling too much shredded cheese on my frijoles there was a couple of incidents in Fayette County and each one involved a young girl either taking them or attacking them. In my old neighborhood out in the Los Angeles area.......well need I say more?

But you know all they have to do is pay a fine, learn English, re-register and get back in line and things will magically be right………eyes rolling.

Expressing that kind of subtle? ignorance explains one reason why you may have left the LA area. What a dissappointment. Que lastima.

At least we don't have to put up with "Carmageddon" - the shutdown of the 405 through the Sepulveda Pass. What a nightmare that's going to be.

Isn't that unreal? My son is here - visiting from Valencia- and agrees with you. Most folk are electing to just stay home for the weekend. I'll think of the 405 whenever I have to navigate the Grady roundabout.

I don't drink when I'm cutting grass. However, there are some previous PTC mayors that managed to drive one of them carts while slightly smashed. At least that's what I heard.
