On hand for the occasion was Nancy Meaders, Fayette Senior Services CEO, and Vanessa Fleisch, Peachtree City Council.

A copy of the activities at the Fayetteville and two Peachtree City facilities is available at any of the three facilities. The Fayetteville facility is at 4 Center Drive, near the Justice Center, The Gathering Place is at 203 McIntosh Trail, near the Frederick Brown Amphitheater, and McIntosh Place is just short drive from there at 191 McIntosh Trail.

Membership is at $25 for county residents age 50 or older. The Fayetteville facility is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Tuesday and Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Gathering Place and McIntosh Place are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Vanessa is off line, but I have your answers, 3 stooges

The cost was $850,000 to reinforce the floor because the concern was that too many overweight people would be in the building - different from the overweight people who were in the building before. $850,000.

Programs - 1 bridge group meets there around 10AM.

Your tax dollars at work.

Use your tarp tomorrow.

Mud kitty

Is that $850,000 with or without the pool table for the 3 old geezers who can still cue up their balls?

I'll wear my tarp tomorrow if you will. However, don't put it on Thursday, the 4th, till after 6am'ish.

I will also have my BBQ and margarita fountain and assorted relatives from outside the U S with me who don't speak English yet. They do wave a mean flag , though, and have received extensive training in candy catching and playing God Bless America on a small organ they brought with them.
