COS members offer special prayers
This weekend prayers of blessing will be offered for Vacation Bible School volunteers; for 40 youth and adults who will attend a weeklong Confirmation Camp at Lutherock Retreat near Arden, N.C.; and for Jamie Callison, who begins a month at Lutheran Summer Music Academy and Festival in Decorah, Iowa, on June 20. Newly-elected Congregational Council members will be installed; they are: Jerry Balthrop, Danny Lucsko, Mike Oliver and Jon Scheumann.

June 25 Gospel performers announced
Roy Smith has announced the schedule of the Southern Country Gospel Sings for the month of June, which will be held in the Grantville Railroad Freight Depot in Grantville, located on Exit 35 on Interstate 85. For Friday June 25: Jackie Robinson, Ward Family and One Accord. For Saturday June 26: Wayne Faircloth from Columbus, Christiannaires from LaGrange, and Bobby Ellis Band from Columbus. Edgefield Baptist will dedicate sanctuary
Members of Edgefield Baptist Church invite everyone to come out and join them in celebrating the expansive renovations and upgrades to their sanctuary. There will be a Sanctuary Dedication Celebration on Sunday, June 27 at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Belinda McCastle from New Hope United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
