Fayette deputies search for armed robber

Fayette County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man who robbed the Ga. Highway 92 North Chevron convenience store at gunpoint on April 28.

Sheriff Barry Babb said deputies responded to the Chevron store at approximately 10:30 p.m. on April 28 in response to an armed robbery call. The station is located at Hwy. 92 and Rivers Road.

Babb said the victim described the man as a masked male who entered the business brandishing a revolver. The suspect demanded cash from the register and fled the store on foot, Babb said.

Anyone with information pertaining to this armed robbery is asked to contact the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office at 770-461-6353.

Dodging a bullet

Look at the hammer back on that S&W in that picture with his finger on trigger. That clerk is one lucky person, this guy was going to kill.

When they catch him, and they will, he needs to go away for a long, long time. Five years minimum mandatory for armed robbery in Georgia.
