Jean Elizabeth Werner, age 84

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at St. James Catholic Church, 622 Chestnut St Gadsden, Alabama for Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Werner, age 84, of Ohatchee, who passed away Saturday April 23, 2011. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Roslindale, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Werner was a native of Boston, Massachusetts and was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Gadsden, Alabama. She was retired from Delta Airlines and a member of the Delta Pioneer Club.

She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Werner.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Louis M. Werner; sons, Kurt Werner and Glenn Werner; daughter, Dianne Maney; grandchildren, Chad Werner, Tania Bartlet, Melinda Lopez, Michael Maney, Carolyn Werner, Ben Werner and Alex Werner; great grandchildren, Brittany Werner, Bethany Werner and Sebastian Lopez.

Pallbearers will be Alex Werner, Ben Werner, Michael Maney, Chad Werner, Hank Werner and Glenn Werner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Catholic School at 700 Albert Rains Blvd. Gadsden, Al 35901.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church.www.collier-butler.com
