Look up ‘radical’: You’ll find picture of President Obama

Did you ever wonder what a real home grown radical looks like? If not, just take a good look at our president.

This guy has been in office for only about 15 months and already, he’s made more left turns than a NASCAR Chevy on Sunday.

Some people thought Bill Clinton was a radical. Barack Obama makes Bill Clinton look like a Reagan Republican.

I suppose that radical ideology must be like drugs: it kills brain cells and impairs judgment. Obama took office in the midst of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. Instead of attacking the economic crisis, he forces passage of a multi-million-dollar healthcare plan that most Americans don’t understand or want.

In the meantime, scores of Americans — myself among them — are in the process of losing everything we have.

Good judgment, Mr. President? I think not. After all, when my family and I are living in a box, we’re probably not going to worry much about a healthcare plan.

Oh, one more thing — Obama says that the health bill isn’t going to affect my taxes. And, the health bill is going to reduce the federal budget deficit.

Our president seems to think that everyone but he and his leftist friends just fell off the turnip truck. Even my 10-year-old is smarter than that. We were watching the news one night while the healthcare plan was being discussed. My son scratched his head and asked where the government gets trillions of dollars. I guess our president must not be smarter than a fifth grader.

Government healthcare is just the tip of Obama’s radical iceberg. Before he’s done, he’ll go after some of our basic freedoms.

More than once I’ve heard him speak of curtailing gun ownership. So watch out, Billy Bob, Barack wants to come get your pistol.

When Mr. Obama took office, didn’t he swear to uphold the Constitution? That pesky old Second Amendment must be quite a thorn in his side.

Then there’s something called the “fairness doctrine.” That one is a favorite of both Obama and Nancy Pelosi. In a nutshell, the “fairness doctrine” means that radio and television programs which offer partisan political commentary would be forced to give “equal time” to an opposing view point.

So if you tune in to Glen Beck’s hour-long show, you might have to listen to 30 minutes of Al Sharpton. Beck would be out of business.

Pretty clever, actually. Obama and Pelosi could eliminate free speech and freedom of the press with the “fairness doctrine.” How fair is that?

Obama, Pelosi, and their radical friends will also seek to further undermine your first amendment right by passing “hate speech” laws. This is a real good one.

Their definition of hate speech would be saying anything that contradicts the liberals. Pure and simple. Don’t let anyone tell you differently.

So, speaking out against illegal immigration would be “hate speech.” Speaking out against certain politicians that you might not like, “hate speech.” Speaking out against certain religious sects that like to bomb things, “hate speech.” Speaking of religion, hate speech laws could put your preacher out of business. Making moral judgments against certain lifestyles would most certainly be hate speech.

The radicals from the sixties didn’t just go away. They got haircuts, joined the Democratic Party, and began indoctrinating a new generation with their leftist philosophy. Barack Obama is one of the results.

These people see nothing inherently special about America, and they want to reduce us to the level of some depressed little European country. To these people, the United States Constitution is nothing more than an obstacle to overcome in their quest to manage every aspect of our lives.

Believe me, these people are not red, white and blue. They’re just red. So, folks, let’s take back the House and Senate in November. Then Mr. Obama will be quacking like a duck in 2011, a lame duck.

Radical? SERIOUSLY??

Are you kidding me? You think Obama is radical?? Hmmm....let's see. First, he expanded Bush's war in Afghanistan (something Bush should have done 8 years ago). He is continuing the Bush plan in Iraq. Pretty "radical" so far.
The economy...he hasn't "attacked" it?? How about this...when Obama took office the Dow closed at 7909. Yesterday (4/6) the Dow closed at 10970. That's an increase of 3061, up 38%! Hmm...guess the economy is collapsing. Oh, I know, jobs are not on the increase. True, but the economic slide has ended and the economy is slowly turning around. But I guess it is "radical" to want to extend unemployment benefits for those out of work.
As for Health Care, actually other than Fox News polls say that, although mixed, more Americans support the bill than oppose totally the bill. But certainly your uninformed comment that "most Americans don’t understand or want" the bill is not exactly accurate. Include in those numbers the liberal opposition because the "radical" President didn't pass a "radical" bill. No public option. As for when you and your family are "living in a box" (seems you already do so), that is when you will be sticking your hand out demanding government help. That is when you will be most grateful for Health Care reform. Right now thousands are "living in a box" because their savings and estates were destroyed due to lack of health care. Millions face a 40% greater chance of dying because they don't have health care. Millions go to Emergency Rooms at great expense and slowing Emergency Care because it is the only place they can be treated if they don't have insurance. And I'm sure you are one of the loudest whiners about how your health care insurance is too expensive because of paying for all those uninsured getting free health care at "our" expense.
As for Gun Control, here is Obama's record. So far "he has proposed nothing in the way of new federal restrictions on firearms. Even the "assault weapons" ban signed by President Clinton—and allowed to expire in 2004—has no visible place on his agenda." Additionally "He signed a law permitting guns to be taken into national parks. He signed another allowing guns as checked baggage on Amtrak. He acted to preserve an existing law limiting the use of government information on firearms it has traced." Pretty "radical" eh?
Oh, I could go on and on. But bottom line is you are simply a Beck/Hannity/Limbaugh flunky. You need to actually expand your knowledge and really learn about what you are spouting off about before you spout off. But I guess the "talking points" don't permit actual knowledge.

Birdbrain makes it easy

"As for Health Care, actually other than Fox News polls say that, although mixed, more Americans support the bill than oppose totally the bill. But certainly your uninformed comment that "most Americans don’t understand or want" the bill is not exactly accurate."

"Voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on nine out of 10 key issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports, but the gap between the two parties has grown narrower on several of them.
Following the passage of the health care bill, 53% now say they trust Republicans on the issue of health care. Thirty-seven percent (37%) place their trust in Democrats. A month earlier, the two parties were essentially even on the health care issue."

Birdy.. Question..

Who is Van Jones?
Who is Anita Dunn?
Who is John Holdren?
Who is Cass Sunstein?
Who is Jim Wallis?
Who is Andy Stern?
Who is Carol Browner?
Who is Rom Bloom?
Who is Ezekiel Emmanuel?
Who is Mark Lloyd?

Look these people up and get back to us..

Yeah yeah...I know S.Lindsey.... "radicals."

Guess you're right the country is doomed! That was most evident in the DOW closing above 11,000 yesterday. Better leave now while you can still avoid the gulags. No... I really mean it.... why don't you do what Rush is going to do....move away.
You know, all the conservative diatribe would hold a lot more water if we hadn't seen just the opposite in terms of freedom reduction, radical fiscal policy, and corruption from the last 8 years. Does anyone really think Chaney didn't know his "blind trust" investments in Haliburton wouldn't increase greatly in value when Haliburton was awarded a $30 billion unbid contract in Iraq? Does anyone seriously think this whole Iraq war wasn't about oil? And waged by oilmen?
So I guess Obama has radicals on his staff. But Bush's team was radical right. No middle of the road there. But my point is that so far Obama has been boringly middle of the road. Even the Health Care bill is all about private insurance and completely middle of the road.
By the way, some of us actually think Health Care, Environmental improvements, investment in infrastructure, ending the war, working with the global community to reduce nuclear arms are important. May be "radical" to you, but not to us.
A lot of serious debate and good, solid, successful accomplishments could be made if each side would at least respect that the other side has a legitimate and Constitutionally protected right to their opinion.
Or, you could just join Rush in Costa Rica.

I remember the DOW at 14-15,000 before the unregulated crooks were caught!

Many, many tens of thousands lost enormous home values, retirement and college money. Bush didn't, Cheney didn't. Cheney's Haliburton stock performed amazingly! Bush's is in oil. Of course you know that!

Yes, we need yet to get the private insurance companies out of the new health plan except for pure competition and management purposes. They never even tried to insure everyone for 50 years. They and the whole medical industry colluded to be too much of our economy.

I wish Limbaugh would go to Africa instead. Or Haiti. No chance however--he can't make zillions there off crap. Maybe Hannity, O'Reilly, Coulter, and Army would go with him for company!
