Landscape Coweta Week April 16-22

It’s time to spruce up your landscape and beautify your home’s exterior. Coweta County is celebrating “Landscape Coweta Week” during April 16-22 with three things to help make landscaping your yard easier.

 1) Clean up – Get free disposal of clippings, yard debris, etc. at Coweta’s C & D landfill on Essie Mae Walker Road.  Please note this is only on April 20-21 and is only good for disposal of yard debris.

2) Add color - Get 10 percent off any landscape or maintenance supplies from the Coweta merchants below with a coupon posted on the Coweta County website (www.coweta.ga.us)  The 10 percent off is only good April 16–22 at the following merchants:  A & W Nursery, Adamson Lawns & Landscaping, Andy’s Nursery & Garden Center, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Mulch & More, Southern Design and Vining Stone.

3) Do it right – Attend a “How-To” landscape class covering soil preparation, fertilization and the right plant in the right place. Presented by county arborist Roy Matthews with Extension Service Master Gardeners, the dates and locations include:

-4/14, 10:30 am at Wal-Mart

-4/14, 1 pm at Lowe’s Home Improvement
