He’s all in at Kiwanis Pancake Eating Contest

One of the crowd pleasing events at the annual Pancake Saturday, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City, was the pancake eating contest for kids. The contestants sat down at a table with a plate of three syrup-coated pancakes in front of them. Whoever ate them fastest would win a $25 gift card from Target plus a lifetime pass to future Kiwanis pancake events. The kids were excited until they were told their arms had to go behind their backs. The messy results were very close with Collin Byrne (above), a sixth-grader at Booth Middle School, being declared the winner. Photo/Special.

Thanks Kiwanis

Had a very nice time. Kids enjoyed the clowns, mascot and face painting along with the pancakes. Very well organized and got to talk to people I hadn't seen in a while.
