William Watson Smith

William Watson Smith, 70, Senoia, died Jan. 6, 2010. He loved to garden, fish, and spend time on Lake Sinclair. He was a 35-year salesman with Edison Brothers Stores. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. D. Porter officiating.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Linda Smith, whom he had only known for six weeks before getting married; a son, Lance Smith, Senoia; a daughter, Melissa and Jayson Lee, Senoia; granddaughters, Melinda Lackey, McDonough, and Bridget Lee, Senoia; a brother, Frank and Sue Smith, Batesville, Ark.; and a sister, Susan Ferguson, Sherman, Texas. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
