Green Oil Co. raises money for local charities

The Wyatt Brothers, owners of Geo. H. Green Oil Co., are pleased to report that their annual charity fundraising efforts were successful in raising some $24,000 for their three adopted charity partners – Greater Atlanta’s “Empty Stocking Fund – serving Children since 1927, Newnan, Ga’s, “Welcome House” and Fairburn, Ga’s “In His Great Name Ministry.” 

Despite a troubled economy and the highest unemployment rate in 50 years, the Green Oil Employees, led by their two Truck Stops.  Fairburn Family Travel Center collected $12,200 in just over 30 days, followed by $4,200 from Greenway Mc Stop.

Green Oil out performed last year’s total by an amazing 10.7 percent.

The Wyatt Brothers added:  “Sincere and heartfelt appreciation to our stores and employees, our great office staff, generous vendors and especially to our wonderful customers for their caring generosity, demonstrating once again, ‘the reason for the season!’”
