Maureen Ramsay Hughes, account executive, brings to The Citizen 15 years of sales experience in the fields of real estate, telecommunications and transportation. A native Floridian (and still a Gator fan), my family and I relocated to Fayetteville in the spring of '83. I have become acclimated to winter weather and enjoy the change of seasons but I've found nothing to compare with long walks by the ocean for relieving stress and restoring that sense of well being.

My pride and joy: A daughter, Jackie, and son-in-law, Steve; son Tommy, daughter-in-law Paige and three wonderful grandsons: Jon, 12, Alex, 7, and Garett,2.

I'm active in community life, a spiritual seeker, an avid reader and writer, and one of the more liberal thinkers among my coworkers. My life ambition is to author a book (spiritual/self improvement) and become a motivational speaker.
